Conan Gray’s Wishbone Pajama Tour made a memorable stop at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View on October 3. Touring behind his fourth album, Wishbone, he delivered a show that was heartfelt, playful, and visually engaging. Hemlocke Springs opened with her vibrant alt-pop, including “Girlfriend,” setting a fun, upbeat tone and getting the crowd energized.
Conan performed a mix of songs from Wishbone, including “This Song,” “Nauseous,” and “Vodka Cranberry,” alongside fan favorites like “Heather” and “Maniac.” With a perfect mix of songs from Wishbone and longtime favorites, the setlist kept the audience engaged from start to finish.
The stage visuals added depth to the performance. Clouds and stars appeared on the screens, and a glowing lake provided the backdrop for “Romeo,” during which he performed from a canoe on stage. Outfit changes and shifting scenery—from clouds to stars to a grassy field—kept the show visually dynamic without overshadowing the music.
Conan connected with the audience throughout the night. He invited a fan onstage to pick the next song, creating a spontaneous, playful moment, and encouraged fans to sing and wave their phone lights during “This Song,” “Actors,” and “Maniac,” enhancing the energy of the performance.
The concert concluded with “Memories” and “Caramel,” during which fans waved their hands and sang along, bringing the show to a strong close. The Wishbone Pajama Tour demonstrated Conan’s ability to combine solid performances, engaging visuals, and interactive moments into a professional and well-executed show.
