The Band Camino Live in Toronto – November 9, 2025

Photos and review by Zachary Coleman

The Band Camino are back with their new album NeverAlways. The album released on July 25, 2025, but just two weeks before release, the band announced this was just volume 1. The trio released their new single “12:34” from volume 2 right before the tour started. A new single after the album release isn’t the only thing The Band Camino did before their official headline tour. They had a full-blown pop-up tour across the United States right after the album release. The tour before the tour consisted of smaller venues announced days before the shows took place, and always sold out within an hour of being on sale. The band stated they had been “missing the intimacy and chaos of sweaty grungy rock shows in tiny clubs.” This also gave them a chance to practice the new songs live before the fall headline tour officially started.

The Neveralways tour started in Atlanta, Georgia on October 10 and is now at History in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on November 9. The Band Camino have consistently changed up the setlist almost every night on the tour so fans don’t know what to expect when it comes to this show. One thing fans know to expect is two openers. The bands In Color and Almost Monday opened the concert with high energy. The Band Camino have always done a really good job of choosing openers with similar vibes that get the audience pumped up for their performances, but these may be the best openers for a tour I’ve seen in a very long time.

The Band Camino opened the show with a tape recording of “HasJustBegun” that went into the band’s confetti-popping smash hit, “Daphne Blue.” The band went through their entire catalogue that night, including deep cuts such as “Heaven” and the popular first single “2/14.” After the band played their song “Baggy Jeans,” they broke into an acoustic set where they played “Bernstein,” “Hates Me Yet (222),” and a cover of Justin Bieber’s song “Daises.” The Band Camino ended their 25-song setlist with their newest single, “12:34,” and “What I Wanted.”

The Band Camino has had one of the most successful careers a band of ten years can have. Having an extremely dedicated fan base, where quite a few of them have been around since their first EP. The Band Camino does not take their fans for granted as they try to leave everything on the stage for them every night, even when they were as exhausted as they were that night in Toronto. The band stated that they came on stage worn out from the shows days before, but were able to feed off the energy of the crowd. The NeverAlways tour is a fantastic show with a few surprises that leave fans with a sense of uniqueness to each individual show.
