On October 22, Jeremy Zucker brought his Welcome to the Garden State Tour to The Warfield in San Francisco, performing songs from his latest album, Garden State, alongside hits like “Comethru,” “You Were Good to Me,” and “All the Kids Are Depressed.” The New Jersey-born singer-songwriter is known for blending introspective lyrics with catchy indie-pop hooks, and his live shows seamlessly balance polished production with playful, personal connection.

The night opened with Bebe Stockwell, who delivered a warm indie-folk-pop set. Songs like “Call Me By Your Name” and “New England Regret” were paired with playfully interacting with fans, including joking and responding to cheers. Her set energized the crowd and set a lively tone for Zucker’s performance.

From “Garden State” to “Brooklyn Boy,” “Natural Disaster,” “Therapist,” and “Splinter,” Zucker moved effortlessly through upbeat hits and quieter, introspective tracks. Visuals — from rainy houses and starry skies to abstract designs and childhood footage — amplified each song’s mood. Crowd interactions were constant: he encouraged fans to jump, cracked jokes between songs, told the crowd “I love you” and “How are you doing?” throughout the set, and shared a personal moment by bringing his wife onstage. A beer from his crew added a fun, spontaneous moment to the performance.

The show closed with a jump-spin finale and audience chants of “one more song,” ending the night on an undeniable high. Between heartfelt moments, playful energy, and cinematic visuals, Jeremy Zucker delivered a performance that was both emotional and unforgettable — a perfect reflection of why his live shows continue to connect so deeply with fans.
